The seeds of success are planted here.

While grape-growing is our focus, our region is home to a wide array of agricultural production. The list of commodities cultivated here is long and bountiful: corn, fruit, soybeans, nursery plants and flowers, vegetables, eggs, poultry, lamb, hogs, beef and general dairy products. Particularly, in southwestern Ontario, the main cash crops are corn, sugar beets, and various other vegetables and cannery crops. The areas of Chatham and Leamington are best known for their tomato production both in fields and in greenhouses. Altogether, agriculture is one of the largest and most diverse industries in our region, contributing substantially to the local economy.
